HKAN Fellowship Conferment Ceremony 2023
The Hong Kong Academy of Nursing (HKAN) organizes conferment ceremony to recognize our new Fellows for their outstanding achievements in advanced nursing practice and remarkable contributions to nursing specialization in Hong Kong.
To ensure all our new fellows receiving the honour that they deserved, we had our last year’s ceremony dedicated to Fellows of 2020 and 2021, and this year’s ceremony is specially arranged to honour our fellows of 2022 and 2023. On 21st October 2023, we witnessed a record high of 143 new Fellows, bringing HKAN Fellowship to over 2500 in total.
In the ceremony, we were most honored to have Professor LO Chung Mau, Secretary for Health, HKSAR Government and Dr. LEONG Che Hung, Patron of the HKAN as our Officiating Guests and delivering their congratulatory messages.
The Mistress and Master of Ceremony (MC) were Dr. Julia WONG, Fellow of Hong Kong College of Education & Research in Nursing and Mr. Sean CHENG, Fellow of Hong Kong College of Critical Care Nursing.
We have 4 Honorary Fellows and 143 Fellows from different specialties conferred for 2022 and 2023. Ms. NG Shuk Ching, representative of conferred Fellows delivered her vote of gratitude.
The Ceremony ended by the closing remark of Dr Susanna LEE, chair of the Conferment Workgroup and member of HKAN Council.
