The Food & Health Bureau has instructed the Nursing Council of Hong Kong to work on the standards, competence and requirements for advanced nursing practice. The HKAN has written a letter to Professor Sophia Chan (copied to NCHK) to assert that HKAN has the experience and mechanism to support the work and we are the only professional group that houses experts from both the public and health sector, university and clinical settings. Please read the letter which is self-explanatory. We appeal for your support on the matter.
